Dobbs Ferry is a quaint historic village located
on the Hudson River in Westchester County, approximately 20
miles north of New York City.
Its sloping geography and
beautiful waterfront afford dramatic views of the Hudson and
Palisades from many locations. Its character is friendly and
diverse, with many ethnicities and religions reflecting the
waves of immigrants who have passed through this area. Metro
North rail connections and its proximity to New York City make
Dobbs Ferry a very convenient location in which to live, work,
and locate businesses.
Though small, the village offers a
full range of services and attractions, including a
college,
community hospital,
library, the
Aqueduct Trail, and a
strong
arts community. Also watch for future
Land Use Committee announcements.
